Friday 3rd March - Week 4

During today's class, my focus was on crafting an introduction for my mobile application that clearly communicates its purpose and benefits. I spent quite some time and effort on this task, recognising the potential of my idea and the importance of conveying it with clarity and precision. I also drew a mind map for my app idea which I will be adding to as the weeks go on. Additionally, I took the opportunity to learn from Kriss's instructional slides on the proper technique for writing references, taking detailed notes for future reference.

Here is my final introduction, I am very happy with it:

SPOTTER is a mobile application that provides a convenient solution for users seeking ideal sunny areas and surfing spots within their state. This app is the perfect tool for those who want to maximise their outdoor experience without sacrificing valuable time by eliminating the need to search for each individual town or surf break. By using advanced filters such as temperature, wave size, and travel distance the app quickly and efficiently locates the users' desired destination. The app caters to the outdoors market, including spontaneous campers, keen surfers, or any outdoor enthusiast looking to enjoy nature's gifts.
